According to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, post offices and couriers across China handled a total of 1.882 billion parcels during the peak business period (11-16 November) of the Singles’ Day shopping festival in 2018. Number of parcels in China currently ranks number one in the world and has grown more than 20 times over the past decade.
