It’s an essential part of the PSM twin screw extruder’s accessory kit for pellet making without being in contact with water.
As the extruded material by exits the PSM’s multi-hole die, the material is cooled by forced cold air. It is then cut by specially designed blades which are in close contact with the die.
The cold compressed air enters the cutting chamber from the top, passes through the flat surface of the die plate and rotating blades, then escapes from a lower outlet port to cool down the pellets. The pellets are dropped into the PSN separator for separation and further cooling.
