Plastics & Rubber Indonesia and ProPak Indonesia closes with record attendance and opportunities


The largest and most international plastics & rubber, processing, packaging and end line printing event in Indonesia attracted 12.489 trade visitors over 4 days.
 
Plastics & Rubber Indonesia and ProPak Indonesia ended its 25th edition recently after a highly successful run from 10 to 13 Oct 2012, once again reaffirming its reputation as the premier regional trade event for the plastics & rubber, processing, packaging and end line printing sectors with a record breaking buyer attendance from 38 countries/ regions.
 
Indonesia’s growing demand for innovations in plastics & rubber production, processing, filling, packing, labeling and automation was clearly seen at Plastics & Rubber Indonesia and ProPak Indonesia. Regional manufacturers and distributors attended the event to gain up‐to‐date information about viable technologies and solutions that are practical on improving efficiency, increasing productivity and reducing operational costs.
 
Organised by PT Pamerindo Indonesia (PTP), a member of Allworld Exhibitions, the event was a record breaker on several fronts. It occupied 15,000 square metres, hosted 665 exhibiting companies from 30 countries and attracted about 12,489 focused trade visitors from 38 countries, proving that the show is the sourcing platform of choice for the region.

This truly reflects the primary status of the show. From feedback given by exhibitors, they have seen the value of their presence and were very satisfied with the quality of visitors at Plastics & Rubber Indonesia and ProPak Indonesia” said Ms Wiwiek Roberto, Senior Project Manager of PT Pamerindo Indonesia.
 
“The four‐day event concluded with strong indication of sales transactions. Many of the exhibitors have found valuable contacts and interested buyers that benefit their business future. Moreover, this suggests that demand in the plastics & rubber, processing and packaging sectors in this region are growing in the aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, electrical and electronics, furniture, medical and healthcare, pharmaceuticals, household goods, packaging, food & drinks, leisure goods, building and construction as well as contract and sub‐contracting manufacturing industries. With the huge market potential, strong networking between suppliers and buyers will help both sides deliver the best results and long‐term growth.”
