Davis-Standard; Interview with President of Extrusion Systems James O Murphy

Davis-standard is a worldwide supplier of extrusion systems; their business covers US, Europe and Asia. They have been serving the market from 1948, and had expanded to a employee number of 900 this year. Along with the other companies in the industry, Davis-standard had observed a high output number in the past few months. They are expecting further consumption increase in the market from the coming seasons.

 

 






 
 

Husky; Interview with Marketing Communication Manager Mark Appleton

Husky is a 50-year-old provider and one of the premiers in plastic injection molding industry. For this year’s NPE; Husky is operating their HyCap machines at their booth, demonstrating a 2.2second cycle of water closure live in the middle of the show. They have even brought their UltraSync hot runner product, which was believed to synchronize valve stem movement in the production. They also brought in the SideGate series, which is good in making sophisticated pipe and tubular products such as syringe barrels. Husky is not only a provider of machinery, they explain themselves as a “One Stop Shop” service. Where manufacturer that has any request they should find Husky for the answer; no matter in production R&D situations or simply software for recording parameters of the procedure.

 

 





 
 

Irwin Research and Development; Interview with Sales and Marketing Director Roger Underwood

Built in 1966, Irwin has reached their sales in Asia, Europe, America, South America, Australia and Africa markets. They were known for their manufacturing of thermoforming equipments. The machines they sell to the consumers are capable of manipulating with a wide range of resin material such as: PET and OPS, polypropylene, polystyrene; via polystyrene is welcomed in the Latin manufacturers where it has been favored for its low weight and cost. Irwin is putting effort in developing Innovated machines and combining with the latest electronics. They would keep on doing so, coupling technology and innovation in their provided services.

 

 





 
 

Lung Meng Machinery USA; Interview with General Manager Allen Tsai

Establishing in 1991 Miami, Lung Meng now has costumers spreading around the two continents of America. They are specialized in extruders, printing press, bag making machines. Recently they were finding Taiwanese products are anticipated by US and Latin buyers; this made them changed in strategy and start to promote Taiwan products to the market, this time they have brought cooperatives such as high precision thickness measurement system from Nano-Trend, screw and barrel products, and WPC extrusion systems from EDI. They are also complimenting about the show, where their orders had boosted since the event took place.
