FPG Rubber Industry Associates with International Companies


Wang Wen-Tsao-The acts of director, has announced that FPG and international companies have reached consensus on future business in many ways. As technology cooperation and joint venture, they will start business together toward developing in high-end synthetic rubber field - This is really a good news for the worldly rubber market development. In fact, even thought No. 6 Naphtha Cracker Complex project cannot be completed on time, international companies will still give their supports on the cooperation relationship; in the other word, FPG’s oversee corporation integration plan is hopefully to launch their related high-end rubber industry cooperation even if no any progress on No.6 NCC project.
 

Also, FPG has started new business expansion on steel, rubber and green energy fields recently and actively developed international strategic united relationship with many international companies to make the whole plan running more smoothly. This triangle industry crossing development has earned many expectations among markets. 
 

According to a press release, FPG is planning to establish two factories for
Isoprene and Isoamylene rubber production (yearly production is 70,000 tons and 30,000 tons per each), which is estimated to be ready for formal production in three years after qualified by environmental appraisal regulator. Isoprene has the characteristics of natural rubber but more better than the natural one by its features. There will be a revolution occurring on tire market once Isoprene rubber is ready for mass-production.
 

Moreover, the approval established FPG China synthetic rubber business, which will be supported by No.6 NCC with Butadiene material. For prolonging factory integration strategy, FPG has invested 300 million USD on 50,000 tons neoprene rubber yearly production which is scheduled to start construction in Oct. 2011 and ready for production in the end of 2012. This plan is aiming for the inner tube and tire back market in China.
