Butyl rubber - IIR
Categories : Rubbers / Syntetic Rubbers
Butyl rubber (IIR, Isobutylene Isoprene Rubber) is a synthetic rubber, a copolymer of isobutylene and a small amount of isoprene. After modification, it can derive brominated butyl rubber and chlorinated butyl rubber products. Butyl rubber has excellent chemical resistance and resistance to polar fluids, outstanding electrical insulation and good ozone resistance. Its special properties are low gas and moisture permeability and high shock absorption.

Bio-based TPU
Categories : PLA (Biodegradable Plastics)
TPU is made from non-food crops, such as straw, grass, bagasse, rice husk, wood chips and other waste materials, through refining, fermentation and synthesis processes using biological, chemical and physical methods. It is environmentally friendly, recyclable and biodegradable. High bio-based content material with environmental benefits can take step toward sustainability.
