Multihead Weigher Working Principle The multihead weigher or computer combination weigher usually uses different weigh heads to measure the precise weight of the products. After the product is fed into the top of the multihead combination weigher, the internal distribution system of the weigher starts working. This system distributes the product. With the help of linear feed plates, different linear feeders will deliver some product into the feed hopper. For example, if you are using a 14-head multihead weigher machine, there will normally be 14 linear feeders that will deliver products to 14 feed hoppers.
