Plastic Blown Film Machine
Plastic blown film machines, also known as film blowing machines or inflation film machines, are extrusion systems that convert plastic resin into continuous tubular film. Resin is melted in an extruder, forced through an annular die, inflated into a bubble by internal air pressure, cooled by an air ring, then flattened and wound into rolls. Standard single-layer (monolayer) lines process LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE and their blends, and are among the most widely used machines for flexible plastic film production.
Films produced by these machines serve a broad range of uses: shopping bags, garbage bags, garment bags, and T-shirt bags; agricultural and greenhouse film; food and consumer packaging; and industrial liners. Film width, thickness, and surface properties can be tuned through die size, blow-up ratio, and take-up speed, while options such as rotary dies, automatic gauge control, and corona treatment help manufacturers improve thickness uniformity and downstream printing or lamination performance.
