After modification, it can derive brominated butyl rubber and chlorinated butyl rubber products. Butyl rubber has excellent chemical resistance and resistance to polar fluids, outstanding electrical insulation and good ozone resistance. Its special properties are low gas and moisture permeability and high shock absorption.

ECO is an epichlorohydrin elastomer, which is usually divided into monomer (CO), copolymer (ECO, GCO) and terpolymer (GECO) in polymerization form. Depending on the different polymerization monomers, it has different performances in heat resistance, oil resistance and low temperature resistance. Epichlorohydrin rubber has low temperature flexibility, resistance to lubricating oils, fuel oils and general solvents, good compression set and good heat resistance, and has excellent weather resistance and good dynamic properties.
