IPF 2015 All Set to Open Big

 

The 10th Dhaka International Plastic, Packaging, and Printing Industrial Fair will be held concurrently with Bangladesh Int'l Foodtech and Bakery Tech Industrial Fair from January 27th to 30th at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Dhaka (BICC). The event is organized by Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BPGMEA), Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. and Chan Chao Int'l Co., Ltd., and supported by local and international associations. During the exhibitions, there will be 220 exhibitors from 8 countries participate the show.

Plastic Market is rising in Bangladesh

According to Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPMEA), there are 5000 plastic factories in the country with an employment of 12 lakh people. Bangladesh has the opportunity to become a global player in plastic market by raising its turnover to $2 billion by 2015 and $4 billion by 2020, said a UN report last year. The market in Bangladesh is definitely having lots of potential, and welcoming all the investors from global. 

In additional, Textile and garment industry are the most important segment of Bangladesh's manufacturing industry, accounting for 80% of total export earnings and employing 4.4 million people. While the textile and garment industry are booming, the demand for apparel packaging bag is also growing.
