13th International Trade Fair Plastics and Rubber
INTERPLASTICA 2010, the International Trade Fair for Plastics & Rubber, was characterized by the positive market developments. The mood amongst exhibitors was excellent, in view of the wealth of customer contacts, not least due to the many contracts signed during the four days of the fair, which lasted from 26 - 29 January. Some 20,000 trade visitors from the entire Russian Federation and many neighboring countries flocked to Moscow to visit INTERPLASTICA and UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA trade fair for packaging technology, which took place in parallel to it, where a total of 890 exhibitors (at the two fairs combined) presented their range of products and services, covering a total area of over 17,000 square meters.
Owing to the abundant oil resources in the land, Moscow has recently become the most popular potential market and the biggest energy exporter in the world. According to the UNCTAD report, the economic growth rate of Moscow is increasing, as 13 billion US dollars in 2007, which makes it the 8th economy in the world, and the economic growth rate of Russia had reached 8 in 2008… all this facts make experts have expected that Russia will replace India as the fifth economy of the world in 2020.
Since the very first INTERPLASTICA in 1988, this thirteen years old exhibition has attracted tremendous visitors coming to experience the most modernized products, machines and cutting-edge technologies of plastic industry.
Also, INTERPLASTICA is organized by Messe and supported by many government mechanisms which contribute it to become the most important domestic exhibition in Russia.
