Industry Enthusiastic about SPS

Concurrent seminars will gather influential speakers from around the world to share the latest market insights and innovations

SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou (SIAF) will open its doors from 1 – 3 March 2017 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. The three-day event, covering more than 40,000 sqm of exhibition space and occupying four halls, expects to welcome over 500 exhibitors and 50,000 professional visitors from around the world. Recognising the importance and future growth prospects of the South China market, exhibitors are ready to present their latest collection of industrial automation technologies, including control systems, sensor technologies, software development solutions, drive systems, components and much more at the upcoming show. The trading platform seeks to serve international and domestic visitors in manufacturing-based industries.

The organisers aim to further strengthen the show’s recognised reputation for gathering the world’s leading industrial automation technology brands. To date, over 90% of exhibition space has already been booked by more than 450 exhibitors who are enthusiastic to introduce their latest industrial automation technologies. Arranged by product categories, some of the prominent brands confirmed for the 2017 edition include:

Additionally, SIAF is strategically held alongside the 11th edition of Asiamold – Guangzhou International Mould & Die Exhibition, which specialises in the latest mould making, 3D printing, die casting and metalworking instruments. With industrial automation, mould making and additive manufacturing interrelated in many areas, the fairs provide an inclusive platform for all sectors of the intelligent manufacturing industry in Guangzhou – one of the most influential manufacturing hubs in South China.

Estun is a leading producer of core controlling parts for high-end intelligent manufacturing equipment. As a loyal exhibitor at the Guangzhou fair, Mr Andy Xu, Motion Control Products Department Manager from the company, commented the co-location of the shows. He said: “Hosting both SIAF and Asiamold under one roof will without a doubt increase visitor flow to both shows. It will also help with promotion of our company since 3D printing manufacturers are also our potential clients. As exhibitors, we are excited to see how this new arrangement will benefit our business.”

Apart from world-class suppliers, one of the show’s biggest attractions is its fringe events which have played a significant role in the development of the fair. In order to offer a more engaging experience to exhibitors and visitors, a comprehensive selection of forums and seminars will be held during the fair that cover an array of industrial automation products, technologies and development trends.

For 2017, a newly added segment for smart factories will be another fair highlight. “Smart factory – Dialogue between hidden champions and start-ups” will be the main subject led by renowned representatives from, Beckhoff, B&R, and Phoenix Contact. Conference speakers will share insights on intelligent manufacturing, industry trends, new market opportunities and challenges and more. Additionally, representatives from ERNI, Harting, ifm, Pepperl+Fuchs, Schmid, Sensopart, Sick and other leading companies will share the latest information on Industry 4.0 as well as sensor and machine vision technologies at their corresponding seminar areas.
