Taiwan Selected Manufacturer CHICHANG – New Brand Image

Their first time at the K-show brings a new brand image. Mr Wei, the general manager of CHICHANG has many meetings set up in order to get feedback from partners and customers around the world. With partners from the Middle East, America, South America and Europe, CHICHANG hope their new brand image represents the power they have on the world stage.  

CHICHANG Have been working in the European and American markets for many years. In 1992 they entered the European market and became the first Taiwanese manufacturer to enter the German market. Mr Wei stated that entering the European market is not a proposal to be taken lightly and required three years of hard work before earning their first German customer. But after breaking the initial barrier to the German market, their satisfied customers introduced other manufacturers to CHICHANG. By working to the high standards of the German market the value of the machinery that CHICHANG produced also increased.

Mr Wei also stated the market position of CHICHANG (high price and high performance that meets the customers’ requirements) enables the competitiveness of the company to be high and has enabled them to enter into countries such as Britain, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

     

CHICHANG have also established a technology partnership in the US and have a showroom in Seattle where potential customers can see forming machines, plate making machines and various others in action. CHICHANG differ from other Taiwanese manufacturers by working on a different style and market to the traditional companies that compete on price. They hope their new branding will reflect this style and help them to make a mark on the global industry, on an even wider scale.
