FCS and Windsor – How the partnership began

Informal talks began at the 2014 fair show in Turkey, with Windsor approaching FCS with an interest in their products. From here the relationship slowly developed into a formidable partnership culminating in an official contract signed in February this year. FCS now have a great opportunity to expand their products into the European market and Windsor get a new type of product to add to their product range. Windsor came to FCS because they were impressed with the quality of the product and know that it’s suitable for the European market.


What services do Windsor provide to the European market?

We provide 3 different major services, number one is our all electric injection molding machines imported from Japan company, then we have our own products for other injection molding applications, and now with FCS we plan on introducing their hydraulic machines to the European market.

What lies in store for the future?

Integrating technology and learning from each other is very important, as each company has their own strengths, in the immediate future, Windsor are going to take the initial SD series products from FCS and sell them to their existing customers, mainly in the automotive industry. Afterwards they will look at the FCS LM series. Right now they are talking about the specifications and quality needed but Windsor also wants to increase their agents to cover the whole of Europe so they can both reap the benefits.

FCS attaches importance to the global business layout, import strategy and business process reengineering (BPR). The company's four major targets are used to enhance the competitiveness of the company.


Marketing channels
FCS has been vigorously working towards expanding their international services. With direct service points in the Philippines, Vietnam and India, partnerships with agents from the US (MARUKA) and Europe (WINDSOR) and last year, the opening of a branch in Indonesia, a global network is being created to support the continued growth of FCS.

Product Improvement

FCS believe that quality while being an important part of the customer decision making process, does not come close to the importance of quality needed in a machine. They plan on looking to the future and implementing industry 4.0, working to re-engineer the production line and work on introducing a new generation of machinery which upholds the quality of the past, while lowering the costs for the future. 

Manpower

The knowledge and skill of the FCS workforce is something that they want to continuously develop. Improving their R&D quality by sending their engineers out to other parts of the world to learn, is very important to FCS. By studying at different campuses around the world and utilizing the energy and talent of young engineers, flexibility is one of the key strengths of FCS.

Information Systems

In this technological age, not only the products have to be cutting edge. State of the art technology also has to be employed in their information systems. This is why they are constantly revamping their PDM&3D/CAD&ERP systems so that the customer and service can always be the focus.
