Chen Yu Creates the First PVC Physical Foaming Extruder by Cooperation with UK Technology

Chen Yu Plastic Machine, the manufacturer of the PVC plastic machinery and extrusion plant, has technical cooperation with Everfocus Worldwide Technology from UK, and successfully developed “Microbubble in Liquid Polymer Controlling Processing Technology”. Unlike regular physical foaming, this technology can reduce 30% cost of material and be used with the regular PVC plastic pellets, and successfully create the first PVC series plastic extruder in Taiwan.

Lightweight the Product and Reduce the Cost

The manager of EverFocus Technology Company, Xue-Zheng Liao, tells that the feature of “Microbubble in Liquid Polymer Controlling Processing Technology” is it can extrude and inject sandwich-type product, and this technique can keep the product surface smooth and microbubble inside. Therefore, it successfully increases the value of the product and lightweights the product. It can reduce about 30% cost of the material.

This technique can reduce the cooling time and increase the production efficiency. It can decrease the processing time and solve the problem of shrinking and buckling deformation of the product. The chemical foaming agent is not used in production, so it will not produce FREON which will cause the environmental pollution. In addition, this technology is approved by European Union which has forbid using chemical foaming agent since 2013.

Innovation and Huge Progress

Even though this technique is not to use the chemical foaming agent, the function is still the same with regular injection machine and extruder. But the chemical foaming material still can be used in the machines. The general manager of Chen Yu, Zhen-Zhuan Lin, says that the foaming function of Chen Yu’s profile extruder, except the PVC foaming, PE and PS foaming are developed two years ago. In recently years, Chen Yu further develops on physical foaming, and has successfully developed the“Microbubble in Liquid Polymer Controlling Processing Technology” which is the huge progress in this industry.

For researching and developing the new material which is requested by clients, Chen Yu customizes the PVC series plastic machinery, recycling machine, which can recycle the regular PVC, PE, ABS and also the Poly Foam which is successful developed in recently years. These Recycling and processing machines are quite popular in the market.

Zhen-Zhuan Lin also says that the demands of PVC soft and hard hose extruders keep increasing in developing country market. The PE tube making machines have been selling in Middle East country for many years, and the result are pretty good. The performance of the production is as well as Italy made machines’.

As to the reinforced hose, Zhen-Zhuan Lin says that the machine only produce thin hose before, but this year Chen Yu will challenge oneself to produce thick hose making machine, the bursting volume of reinforced hose is 500-1100 psi, and the design is meet the requirement of low-noise, high efficiency, easy-operation, high production and low maintenance cost.
