The Unchanging Meeting of The Plastics Industry


Being widely acclaimed by the industry with showing signs of stabilisation for 23 years,
Plast Eurasia İstanbul set higher goals in 2013

Due to being in the grip of economic recession in Western countries, the leading suppliers of the plastics industry set their sights on Turkey and increase competition in the market. Companies, willing to seize the opportunity to stand out from the intense competition and keep their market share, have already taken part in the fair. Held in December 5-8, 2013, Plast Eurasia İstanbul, the most significant and extensive meeting of the plastics industry in Turkey and Eurasia, has been receiving a great deal of attention from the industry professionals.
Having 1088 company and company representatives from 43 countries in 2012, Plast Eurasia İstanbul also played a host to 38,726 visitors from 86 countries. As a result of intense marketing activities, fair gained the intended level of awareness and arranged hosted buyer programmes from 26 countries.


Fair is ready to brake a new record in 2013

Aiming to outstrip last year’s success in 2013, the marketing activities of Plast Eurasia İstanbul have been densely implemented in local and overseas markets. Beside the head office, industry professionals from target regions have been kept informed about the fair through its 11 local, 7 overseas offices and representatives operating in over 30 countries. Fair has been also publicized through ads, bulletins on printed and online media, face to face marketing activities in local and international trade events.
Hosted buyer programme activities have been performed in Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Canada, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Greece, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan,  Libya, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan within the support of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Economy.
As a result of marketing activities implemented by Tuyap and supporter organisations, over 40,000 professionals are expected to visit the fair.
